We have watched their spectacular races, their rad video edits and checked out their latest bikes. But how many of these stars would we be able to recognise if we are to bump into them at a bike park? With their faces usually shielded by their flashy helmets, it’s small wonder we might have missed them even if we had the chance to brush shoulders with them. So here’s a montage of these super folks. May you have the good fortune to meet them at a bike park or trail near you.
RIDER: RED BULL FORMATION GIRL
Hannah Bergemann is laying a path for the next generation of female freeriding talent in the world of mountain biking. As part of the inaugural Red Bull Formation event in 2019, the 24-year-old American is now back for the second edition in 2021 alongside the likes of Casey Brown, Vaea Verbeeck and Vinny Armstrong. Bergemann spoke about her ambitions for this year and the future.

We have heard of many stories where social groups and sport groups leverage on their strength in unity for the better of society. Salute to all these good efforts! One such efforts that caught our attention was the Foreknow Fat Bike Club’s recent event – Vesak Day Rice Donation. What started off as a simple charity plus ride event grew over its preparation period to a full-fledged event that surprised even their own club members.

CLUB: FOREKNOW FAT BIKE CLUB SINGAPORE
Fat bikes were once the FAD toy for every occasion – beachfront cruising, cafe crawls, off road trails, sandy stretches, post rain muddy fields. We are seeing fewer of them around lately. Amongst us, there’s still a group of diehard fans for these wide-track rigs. We met the guys from Foreknow Fat Bike Club.
PROJECT: THE OHLINS MAKEOVER
We have always dreamt of a hardy bike that is easy on maintenance, competently enjoyable at any type of trails wherever we travel and possessing timeless killa good looks that makes us look good all the time. (Ed: Sounds like a dream any mountain biker would have … ) The addition of the Ohlins RFX36 M2 Air Fork and the TTX22M Coil shock to one of our project bikes could be the final piece to fulfil this dream.
