Cross-training with different sports and games to achive all-round fitness, dexterity and to build different muscle groups is one fun and effective way to go further in one's cycling life. And triathletic sports – swimming and running, to complement cycling –  are top on the list for many cyclists. One of the high profile events for running is the Sundown Marathon where participants get to run along some of the most scenic spots in Singapore. The race is coming again …

Having established itself as the premier night marathon in Singapore, Sundown Marathon now has its sights set on delivering its unique night running experience to runners across the region.


Sundown Marathon has expanded its reach across the Causeway with the launch of Sundown Malaysia, which takes place on Saturday, 21 June, in Nusajaya in Johor Bahru. The inaugural Sundown Malaysia, which will cater to an estimated 8,000 runners, will feature the 21-kilometre half marathon and 12-kilometre race distances.


Sundown Marathon Singapore, now in its seventh year, flags off on the night of Saturday, 31 May 2014, at the F1 Pit Building. The event is expected to draw 30,000 runners for the second year in a row, cementing its status as Asia’s largest night marathon.


Registration for Sundown Malaysia began on 18 March and runs until 19 May. Registration for Sundown Marathon Singapore will close on 30 April. To register or for more information, visit for Sundown Malaysia or for Sundown Marathon Singapore.
