It was a weekday afternoon when I met Jefni. What got my attention was the sticker on his 12 year-old Diamond Back mountain bike. There was a sticker made up of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand country flags. I got curious and walked over to ask the owner did he pasted those stickers on the bike because he cycled to these places. He smiled and told me he toured to Thailand with this bike. I was impressed.

Murray Loubser is a BMX Street sensation in his native South Africa and he has combined with his mentor – former rider and Red Bull Photographer Wayne Reiche – to create a hypnotic Cape Town video with ‘Shapes in the City’.

Red Bull athlete Rebecca Rusch recently became the first cyclist to ride, straight through, the entire Arkansas High Country Route, a new 1,041-mile bike trail across the state. She covered the distance in a new fastest-known-time (FKT) of 8 days, 3 hours and 33 minutes. On hand to document her achievement photographically was internationally renowned adventure photographer Corey Rich, who brought along his talented assistant Bligh Gillies. We sat down with them to pick their brains about what goes into photographing such a challenging project.

Gorn “Boy” Sangkaboon told us that his love for cycling was actually inspired by a monkey! During a visit to the circus, he watched a monkey rode its bicycle and performed some cool tricks. Back in 2016, Austrian trials rider Tom Oehler got a unique chance to reel off tricks around the decadent, historic Grand Hotel de l’Europe in the Austrian resort of Bad Gastein. Enjoy these great mood shots and the production video.

The stunning locations used in the hit TV series Game of Thrones served as the backdrop for a wondrous project in 2018 that combined photographer Lorenz Holder and BMX rider Senad Grosic. It’s a couple of years ago, but the tricks look just a awesome and the shots still take our breaths away.
