The recent Bikezilla Mass Ride happened on 12 July 2025. A happy occasion that reminiscent on many Bikezilla Mass Rides that came before. We were blessed with an early morning rain that fizzled out by 8 am and the good weather that followed held itself well throughout the rest of the morning! The wet start did indeed dampened some participants’ will power to get out of bed that morning but turnout was still sizeable when we flagged off. This ride meant a lot to us. It brought back lots of fond memories. The last mass ride happened in October 2022, nearly a 3 year gap. Bikezilla Mass Rides’ frequency had really spaced itself out over the past few years. While we are sure that we would always be around to keep the bike life and culture alive, we have to admit that we are indeed affected by market forces in the cycling sport industry. Our editor shares his views on this community tradition event and what the future might hold for it.

The Eminent Haste MT is an enduro bike that took us a lot of riding time to fully understand it. Not because we couldn’t feel the bike, but rather, we took longer than usual to understand why this bike behaves the way it does. First off, the overall aesthetics got us interested and then next, we were ploughing through Eminent Cycles’ suspension design theory. Their approach to solving present day’s frame design flaws is scientific and convincing. But designs will remain as designs if they are not applied to actual products. We had to ride the bike to find out! Here’s what we discovered.

Berm Cycle comes across to us as a young innovative company with a strong passion for high quality bicycle products that skewed on the side of high octane sub-disciplines. So far, we counted: aggressive mountain biking, bicycle touring and gravel biking. And this list is expected to grow in the near future. It is no surprise that their brand culture spectrum would also include Street BMX. Enter the Berm Riot Titanium BMX frame and fork set, along with a matching 4-Piece handlebar. Bikezilla took hold of the custom Riot and spent some time with it.
