PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: LOADED PRECISION

Loaded Precision started producing well-designed, durable and high-performing bicycle components since 2006. To those who know the brand well, it is also synonymous with high-quality and reliability. Spotted at Sea Otter 2014 this year was their booth an their bike buggy. Loaded Precision is active in almost all discipline of cycling – Cross-country, Enduro/All Mountain, Downhill, Dirtjump and Slopestyle. Very soon they would be moving into Road Cycling too. Bikezilla thinks its a good opportunity to spotlight this jewel of a brand for bike components, and place them in the choice list of those who wish to custom build or upgrade their bikes.

To find out just how good a product is, one of the often-used and  best way is to know who uses it. And to introduce Loaded Precision to the unacquainted, what best way than to introduce the riders who rock these components.

Favorite moment while riding: Getting a few hours into a long ride, and realizing that I could go forever—Flow.

What inspires his riding: The more ridiculous, painful, hard it is, the more I get into it.  Hard climbing, long spinning, fast descending.  Single-minded singlespeeding.  I dig listening to music for inspiration on long rides, too: My Chemical Romance, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Dropkick Murphys, Offspring, Faith No More, Bad Religion —mostly loud, fast, and hard to understand.

Inspirational Rider: My parents—they started me on this cycling path.  At age 70 they’re still going long on their bikes, more touring than mountain biking, but they got to ride the White Rim Trail a couple of years ago and loved it so much that they’re going back this fall!

Favorite Trails: Pole Canyon, Big Hole Crest, 38-Special, Bearclaw-Poppi, Funner…  There are so many amazing trails out there, and I’ll never be able to remember all of the names.

When he is not out riding, he can be found ….  Hanging out with my lovely wife and dog! And skiing/snowboarding the Teton backcountry during the winter.

Favorite moment while riding: Flowing through a good set of dirt jumps. No tricks, just getting the bike sideways and having a good time.

Favorite Trails: Any dirt jumps or a fast flowing trail

When he is not out riding, he can be found …. Spending time with my wife and son, digging and/or building trails and jumps, working on my truck.
