KETAM WITH MARIN AND POLYGON BIKES
Once in a while comes some things that impresses us. While an organized group ride is not something out of the ordinary for regular bikers, it becomes special when you can feel that the guys who were supposed to organize this "somewhat-corporate-event" did it with genuine interest rather than just a dutiful obligation to fulfill a corporate objective. The Ketam Trail ride with the guys from Rodalink made me notice just that.
The minds behind the informal group Polygon Syndicate had a memorable day at Ketam Trail in Palau Ubin for their Marin and Polygon customers recently. Usually, their weekly rides do not restrict the make of bikes for the ride. For this particular trip to Ketam, which involved more logistic planning than usual, they had to add in an extra condition (This trip is open to Marin and Polygon bike owners only) so as to show some corporate love for their loyal customers. But this restriction is more an exception than a norm for them usually.
