EVENT: CYCLE ASIA SINGAPORE 2015 TO BE POSTPONED TO 2016

EVENT: CYCLE ASIA SINGAPORE

TO BE POSTPONED TO 2016

BREAKING NEWS!

Spectrum Worldwide made the difficult announcement to postpone the Cycle Asia Singapore event to April 2016. The event had originally been scheduled to be held from 10 to 12 April 2015. It was stated that the current sponsorship environment has made it very difficult for them to secure a new Title sponsor that would enable them to meet the quality and safety objectives for Cycle Asia Singapore this year.

INCONVENIENCE AND DISAPPOINTMENT REGRETTED

Spectrum Worldwide wish to apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment that this postponement may have caused to participants, partners and associates who have been involved with this year’s event. This difficult decision was made only after they had exhausted all feasible solutions.

In conjunction with this development, they would like to offer the following three options in relation to entry fees already paid by participants:

  1. Full refund of entry fee by 8 May; or
  2. Credit for next year’s event; or
  3. Transfer of entry to the fourth edition of Cycle Asia Kuala Lumpur which will be held from 12 to 14 June.

Participants will receive details of how to register their preferred option early next week.

RACE PACKS ALREADY PREPARED

In addition and regardless of the participants’ decision, they will still receive their limited edition Cycle Asia Singapore cycling jersey, T-shirt and goody bag from the F1 Pit Building on Friday 10 April between 10am to 10pm. Details of collection will be announced shortly. For overseas participants who have incurred travel expenses that are not recoverable, they are also advised to contact Spectrum Worldwide to discuss on a case by case basis. Spectrum Worldwide assures that they remain committed to the continued growth of the Cycle Asia network across the region. They already have six events confirmed for this year in Malaysia, Philippines and Australia, and are pleased to note that response from sponsors and participants has been very encouraging so far.

Bikezilla awaits more updates from the organizer.
